Trey Terry is a US Army combat veteran, husband, and father running for the State House in Legislative District 29.

Trey is a graduate of Millennium High School in Goodyear. After graduation, Trey joined the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout in 2005. After spending a year stationed along the DMZ in Korea, he was assigned to Fort Hood, Texas where he later deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He spent over one year in Iraq where his recon platoon performed over 100 time-sensitive raids to capture high-value targets and dangerous terrorists. He helped capture or eliminate senior leaders of Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda in Iraq, and local Iranian-supported militia insurgents, dismantling their operational capacity in the Baghdad region.

Since Trey was honorably discharged from the Army, he has fought to elect conservative candidates to local, state, and federal office. A lifelong Republican, he has worked for GOP members of the United States Congress, the Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, and the Republican National Committee.

In 2020 Trey was elected to the Agua Fria Union High School District Governing Board. Since taking office he has ended school lockdowns, prevented mask mandates for our children, and stopped critical race theory in our schools. He is also leading the push to expand career and vocational training to high schoolers so when they graduate, they are prepared to be productive members of society.

Trey, his wife Elise, and two sons live in Goodyear.
